GREAT BRITAIN. Tibet Expedition Bronze Medal, 1903-04. CHOICE UNCIRCULATED.
36.59 mm (sans hanger). MY-162. Bust of Edward VII left; Reverse: View of Potala Palace. Edge inscribed "Cooly Budhiwan Tamang. F&J Corps." With hanger and correct replacement ribbon. Very nice with only minor evidence of having been worn or handled. The fields are toned with very attractive vibrant blue and orange hues while the devices are a lovely contrasting old bronze color. On the reverse there is a thin die crack running from 11 o'clock towards the center mentioned for accuracy. CHOICE UNCIRCULATED.
