Fr-933; C-32; Gig-1; Mont-111; MIR-109.1. A bad year for Maria Luigia, the Duchess of Parma depicted on the obverse. She was Napoleon Bonaparte's second wife, with 1815 being a rather disastrous year for her husband. A very attractive example of the issue, with generous amounts of original lustrous surfaces. Free of major marks and with far above average rims for the type. A real slice of history from this tumultuous era, and in highly collectible condition. NGC AU-55.
