KM-397. "Cap and Rays" type. Boldly struck with clear overdate, some ghosting of obverse lettering. Very attractive with excellent old envelope toning featuring cobalt blue, seafoam green and oxblood hues spread over the entire surface of the coin. Underlying luster remains everywhere and this sharply struck example is absolutely worthy of its choice grade. Tied with one other overdate example in this grade with only two pieces finer.
