KM-108; Basso-43; PNM#6-211; PNM#16-190; Cacho-Type IX CS-005; Lopez-Chavez Yriarte-Type IV group A; Gil-Crown variety 5-3-1-I (1834). Type VI countermark, Crowned Y.II. within circle. On an 1834-IJ Santiago, Chile Peso. Scarce host coin with countermark on obverse. Countermark well struck and nicely centered. Scarcer than the more common Mexican or Peruvian host coin types, and highly desirable for this reason alone. A wholesome fully original example free of problems. NGC VF-30.
