ROMANIA. Certified Mixed Minor Coinage, ca. 1867-1941. NGC, ANACS & ICG AU-50 to MS-65.
25 pieces in lot. For collectors of Romania, a compelling lot with nine different denominations represented. Most of these are high grade coins aside from four in details holders. Light duplication, including a pair of 1906 Leu commemoratives with portraits on both sides. Best pieces in the lot are probably the 1914 Leu and 2 Leu, graded by NGC as MS-65 and MS-64 respectively. Bright white with shimmering luster, and just a touch of tone on the larger coin. Split about evenly between silver and base metal issues. Among the bronze coins, bidders will want to inspect the 1882-B 5 Bani, in NGC MS-62 BN, the coin is another one of the outstanding examples in this tightly focused group of coins.
