SWEDEN. 1/2 Daler Plate Money, 1729. Fredrik I (1720-51). BOLD VERY FINE.
3.5 x 4.5 in. KM-PM65; AAH-281; BT-A10. (Tingstrom: 151 examples known including 89 pieces from the Nicobar). All stamps applied very boldly and are all nearly complete, partial stamp border clashes on reverse. Center stamp is bold and clear with only a bit of weakness at the southern border. The corner stamps are very bold as well with four dates. Only one stamp is slightly off the edge of the plate. Some dusty verdigris is present in some of the corner stamps but is quite light. Attractive light brown patina. BOLD VERY FINE.
