SWITZERLAND. Silver Crowns & Minors, 1867-1955. ANACS MS-61 (3), MS-63 (2) PCGS SP-66 (5).
10 pieces in lot. A cornucopia of highly desirable Swiss coinage, all struck in silver, and all in either MINT STATE or SUPERB GEM SPECIMEN condition. The lot starts out with three different shooting festival 5 Francs dated 1867, 1879 and 1881, with all three housed within ANACS MS-61 holders. An additional pair of 5 Francs dated 1923-B and 1939-B (Laupen) are both within ANACS MS-63 holders. Finishing out the lot is a grouping of 5 SPECIMENS all housed within old green tag PCGS holders, and all five coins grading SPECIMEN-66. Includes a 1/2 Franc dated 1955-B, followed by Franc coins dated 1939-B, 1944 & 1946-B and a 1941-B 2 Francs. All of these are exceptionally attractive for the type, with solid catalog values and an approximate retail value exceeding $1,200. ANACS MS-61 (3), MS-63 (2) PCGS SP-66 (5).
