MIXED LOTS. Silver Crowns & Minors, 7th-19th Century. NGC VG-8 to AU Details.
7 pieces in lot. A widely varied mixture of silver European coinage that begins with a pair of Sceattas as S-793 and S-862 dating to the 8th and 9th centuries in England, followed by a pair of Scottish Pennies from Alexander III as S-5055 and S-5056 from the 13th century, then leaping forward four centuries to 1696 in the form of an Austrian (Salzburg) Taler as Dav-3510, and finally a pair of Russian silver Rubles dated 1850-CNB and 1892-AT. Two of the coins are with details grades for obverse damage and surface hairlines, with the balance original material. Attractive coinage with appealing overall appearance. Approximate retail value exceeding $1,000. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. NGC VG-8, VF-20, EF-40 (3) & AU Details (2).
