CHINA--EMPIRE. Ta-Ching Government Bank. 1 to 100 Dollars, ND (1910). P-A79sp-A82sp. Specimen Proofs. PMG Extremely Fine 40 Net & Extremely Fine 40.
4 pieces in lot. Specimen proofs printed on banknote paper by the Imperial Chinese B.E.P. Without overprints. Punch cancels on each at left and right. Individual notes on this series are rare and full denomination sets are near impossible. Typically these designs are only offered in proof form with face and back printings on separate stock. The specimen notes offered here are far more desirable than the proof notes with full face and back printings and also being printed on banknote paper. Each note shares a common vignette on the face with a flying dragon over junks and a portrait vignette of Prince Chun at left. Exceptional detail in each intricacy of the engraving at both face and back and with each denomination. All grade PMG Extremely Fine 40 Net, Restoration with the exception of the One Dollar note which is without the restoration comment. We cannot determine the location of the restoration on the three higher denomination notes leading us to believe it was something incredibly minor. Each note retains stunning original embossing, color and all show with only light circulation. PMG Extremely Fine 40 Net & Extremely Fine 40.

Estimate: $20000.00- $25000.00
