CHINA--REPUBLIC. Bank of China. 1912. P-25s1-27s1. Specimen. PMG Choice About Uncirculated 58 to Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 EPQ.
3 pieces in lot. A rare group of specimens we are offering on this Emperor Huang-ti series. The One Dollar note here shows splendid detail throughout with deep green color at the bordering design and vivid multicolored central guilloche. The Five Dollar specimen note offered here is highly attractive and will certainly appeal well to collectors. Strictly original paper throughout is found and indicated further by the "EPQ," designation by PMG. Ample margins frame the dark impression nicely and the left and right vignettes show Emperor Huang-ti and a gazebo respectively. Salvage at left. A center fold prevents an uncirculated designation. Lastly, the 10 Dollar is seen with similar features as the other two. Deep bold blue inks. Huang-ti at left, guilloche pattern at center. PMG Choice About Uncirculated 58 to Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 EPQ.

Estimate: $4000.00- $6000.00
