5 pieces in lot. Specimens. This set punctuates the splendid offering of these Emperor Huang-ti notes that we are offering in specimen guise. Superbly dark impressions of the design leaves infinite detail in the ornate engraving work with large and even borders providing a stunning frame. Seen with common for the series portrait vignette of Huang-ti vignette at left. Denominations of 1, 5, 20, 50, and 100 Dollars. Salvage seen on the 1, 5, and 20 Dollar notes. All notes feature punch cancels at the signature panels and red specimen overprints between the punches. The 100 Dollar note leads the way in grade, and beauty. Each note seen with embossing.
