Fr-B64; KM-368; Cheng-pg. 102 fig.1; Zukang-pg. 49 fig. 6. Authorized mintage of only 200 pieces. The obverse depiction is based on a painting by Ren Bonian (1840-96) who was considered to be one of the most famous painters of his time. He is sometimes referred to as one of the "four Rens". Known for his use of color and bold brushstrokes. He was influenced by the Song Dynasty painters early in his career, but later preferred the works of Zhu Da which was freer in style. With case of issue and certificate of authenticity, serial #97. Free from spots, tone or fog. Nearly flawless. PCGS PROOF-69 DEEP CAMEO Secure Holder.
