CHINA. Hollow Handle Square Shoulder Spade Money, Spring-Autumn Period (ca. 650-400 B.C.). NEARLY VERY FINE.
H-2.79; Jen-8. Light character but discernible "Shi" on face. Nearly full vibrant patina interrupted in a few places by what would seem to be tooling to remove mild encrustation or possibly when separating it from another spade it was found with, especially notable on the top of the handle where some loss has accompanied these areas. Nevertheless a nice piece for the interested collector. NEARLY VERY FINE.
Estimate: $300.00- $500.00
