CHINA. Long Whisker Dragon Pattern Dollar Struck in Silver, Year 3 (1911). Tientsin Mint. NGC MS-62.
L&M-29; K-223b; KM-Pn305; WS-0040; H. Chang-CH33; Wenchao-108 (rarity three stars). Obverse with large characters, floral design on the reverse at 3 and 9 o'clock is slightly different from any of the other 1911 pattern dollars. EXTREMELY RARE. Chang indicates the design was produced by Italian die sinkers (a design that was never adopted for regular production). A handsome pattern with an enormous fiery ball above the denomination, with whiskers nearly half the diameter of the coin. A type missing from nearly every collection, including the world famous Irving Goodman collection. Virtually as struck and no question premium quality for the assigned grade. Faint clear tone and gleaming luster. A coin that is certain to meet the requirements of even the most discriminating collector. NGC MS-62.

Ex: W&B Capital Collection.

Estimate: $110000.00- $130000.00
