L&M-547; K-468; Y-183a.2; WS-0465. Claw not touching cloud. Tied with one other piece at NGC for finest graded, with none reaching this level at PCGS. Quality problems are endemic to the coinage of Kirin, and when combined with typical heavy circulation the coinage saw there, the survival of a coin like this is simply astonishing. Lightly toned with clear golden coloration, and with a superior strike. CHOICE MINT STATE, a piece with full claims to its finest graded distinction, and belonging in a collection of other finest extant Chinese provincial coinage. NGC MS-63.
