CHINA. Order of the Striped Tiger Fourth Class Officer Badge with Wreath, ND (Instituted 1912).
Barac-378; Vernon-23; cf.Werlich-248; Li-pg. 64. Gilt silver with multicolored enamels. Two eight-point multi-rayed star plaques: the larger with multicolored rays, and the smaller inner one with three stars on the top point support, central medallion portraying a tiger in natural colors. The enamels are essentially complete and sound with just a tiny star of very light cracks beginning to form on the highest point of the tiger's shoulder and a small of amount of red enamel missing from hanger. The pin-backed ribbon is original and complete. EXTREMELY FINE.
