CHINA. Order of United Glory Second Class Set of Star and Badge, ND (Instituted 1943).
Barac-481-482; Li-pg.157; cf. erlich-256. Also known as the Order of Common Honor. The 86.9 mm Breast Star is composed of two eight-pointed multi-rayed star plaques surmounted by two enameled central discs. The larger one blue with a ring of 9 white clouds and the other with eight gold stars on a red enamel field. The reverse is blank except for a rectangular plaque with four ancient script characters. The tunic pin has become separated from its hinge, but is still present. The sash badge is of similar form, but 77 mm across the rays and 143 mm top to bottom including the loop, decoration and hanger. The 45 mm faded red and royal blue silk moire ribbon is not normally associated with this Order. NEARLY EXTREMELY FINE.
