COINS. 錢幣, CHINA - EMPIRE, GENERAL ISSUES, 中國 - 帝國中央發行, General Issues: Silver Pattern Tael, ND (c.1858), Obv "關平銀壹兩" (Silver One Tael Kwan Ping) within circle, surrounded by "中外通寶" (Chinese Foreign Circulating Coin), Rev the Ying-Yang symbol at centre encompassed by the eight trigrams, two dragons chasing each other in the outer circle, reeded edge (Kann 925; L&M 595). In GBCA holder graded MS67, attractive dark and iridescent tone, very rare.
