IMP [...] SEB ALEXANDER (Ss retrograde throughout), laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / DEO AE SVB / C G H I [P], Asclepius seated right on throne, holding raised foreleg of bull standing left. SNG von Aulock –; SNG Copenhagen –; SNG BN –; BMC –; cf. Numismatik Naumann 46, lot @ (for a similar rev. of Severus Alexander as Caesar). VF, red-green patina, a few cleaning marks. Extremely rare, and apparently unpublished.
