Laureate head of Janus; curved truncation / Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt and holding scepter, in galloping quadriga right driven by Victory; incuse ROMA in raised tablet below. Crawford 28/3; Sydenham 64a; RSC 23. VF, toned, porous surfaces, edge marks consistent with being set in a bezel.
