GERMANY, Pegau (Abtei). AR Bracteate (22mm, 0.79 g, 12h). Struck early 12th century. Draped half-lengthfacing male bust, holding cruciform banner; cross to right; all within pelleted border / Incuse of obverse. Bonhoff 899 (Halle); Kestner 2026-9 (Halle); Löbbecke 498 (Meißen); Reichmann 1371 (Meißen); de Wit 2271. Good VF, lightly toned, areas of weak strike at periphery.
