ITALY. Divus Julius. Died 44 BC. Cast Æ Medal (38mm, 35.52 g, 12h). Manufactured circa 18th-19th centuries. Laureate and draped bust of Divus Julius; lituus to left, star to right / Ganymede seated right, feeding eagle perched left on rock from pot in lap; PIETAS in exergue. Cf. CNG E-378, lot 698 (for obv.). VF, brown surfaces.
