British Administration Proof Obol 1819 PR64 Brown NGC, KM32. The last one we sold in January 2014 hammered for $1,880 in PF62 BN and this one is two grades higher with a reverse that is an electric blue ice-like finish over the highly brown glossy surfaces. There are spots where the die rust is evident from the striking of this coin on the obverse but quite acceptable and is barely noticeable. The reverse is highlighted by the same type of blue toning as listed above and highlights the Seated Britannia very nicely, and the coin has marvelous eye appeal on both sides with extremely sharp details. We expect fierce bidding for this aesthetic marvel.
