Axumite Kingdom, Endubis; Late 3rd century, AV Unit, 2.65g. Munro-Hay-1, BMC Axum-1-3, Hahn-Aksumite 1. Obv: Draped bust of King Endubis r.,framed by grain ears, pellet within crescent above. Rx: Draped bust r., wearing head-cloth, between two grain ears; pellet in crescent above. Endubis was the first Axumite king. Ex CNG 100, The Adams Collection, 7 October 2015, lot 317. MS
