TAURIC CHERSONESOS, Chersonesos. Circa 90-80 BC. AR Drachm (15mm, 3.39 g, 12h). Demetrios, magistrate. Head of Artemis right, bow and quiver over shoulder / Artemis Parthenos standing left, holding bow and striking with spear a stag lying left below; [ΔHMHT]PIOY to right, all within incuse circle. Anokhin, Khersonesa 191; Anokhin 817; SNG BM Black Sea 828–9. Good VF, toned, deposit on obverse, off center on reverse. Very rare, this is the only example in CoinArchives.
