LESBOS, Mytilene. Circa 521-478 BC. EL Hekte – Sixth Stater (11mm, 2.51 g, 1h). Head of ram right; below, cock standing left / Incuse head of lion left; rectangular punch behind. Bodenstedt Em. 11; HGC 6, 936. Near EF. Well centered for issue, with almost the entire cock visible on the obverse, and rare as such.
