BRUTTIUM, Kroton. Circa 500-480 BC. AR Nomos (22.5mm, 7.95 g, 6h). Medium incuse type. Tripod, legs terminating in lion's feet; to right, heron standing left / Incuse tripod. HN Italy 2093; SNG ANS 261–2 var. (orientation of ethnic). Good VF, deep iridescent tone, indications of overstriking, trace deposits.
