BRUTTIUM, Rhegion. Circa 445-435 BC. AR Drachm (19mm, 3.89 g, 12h). Facing lion scalp / Iokastos seated left, holding scepter; all within laurel wreath. Herzfelder 39 (D25/R33); HN Italy 2484. VF, toned, granular surfaces, scratches, edge chipped and smoothed. Rare issue, only 10 examples of drachms recorded by Herzfelder for this period (Herzfelder 37–40).
