Costa Rica Banco de la Union 2 Pesos ND (1886-89) Pick S222s Specimen. The Banco de la Union was founded in 1877 and in 1890 changed its name to the Banco de Costa Rica which is still in business to this day. This is the first example of either a specimen or issued note that we have been able to offer of this particular Pick number. Some printer's annotations and pinholes are noticed on this PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 graded note. From The Alta California Collection
