Cuba Interest Bearing Certificate 500 Pesos 1.6.1869 Pick Unlisted. A smaller denomination issued under the name of La Republica de Cuba during the Cuban independence effort from Spain. A vignette of the seal of the patriots is featured in the center. Like the 1000 Pesos denomination, these bonds were also issued in New York and generally sold to supporters of the movement in the United States. Stamped signatures of Jose Morales Lemus and manuscript signatures J.F. Basora are seen on this bond. PMG Very Fine 30 Net, repaired, previously mounted.
