Ireland Currency Commission The Hibernian Bank £5 5.8.1938 Pick 15a. The first variety issued by The Hibernian Bank, in an absolutely wonderful state of preservation. This smaller bank was one of the first of The Bank of Ireland's acquisitions, and was taken over in 1958. All features on this example are as fresh as the day it was printed.
