Israel First Issue Banknotes Presentation Booklet Anglo-Palestine Bank Ltd. 500 Mils; 1; 5; 10; 50 Palestine Pounds ND (1948-51) Pick 14s; 15s; 16s; 17s; 18s Specimens. Dimensions are approximately 12 by 7.5 inches. Each page is black construction paper and holds one note in a "window" fashion so that both sides can be viewed. Each note has "Specimen" printed twice diagonally across its face. This issue had a first printing on April 26, 1948. They were issued for circulation in August 1948. Their last printing was on September 11, 1951 and they were withdrawn in June 1953. This presentation booklet is a very interesting piece of financial history from the area. The notes all grade Uncirculated, 2 POC. Three information pages stapled together accompany this lot. The total item count for the lot is two.
