Mexico Banco de Mexico 1000 Pesos ND (1931-34) Pick 27p Face and Back Proofs. A very nice pair of Face and Back Proofs, mounted on cardstock, that represent the highest denomination for this issue. The central vignette of the face features an attractive woman in a flowing gown seated near a globe on a pedestal along with a multicolor underprint. The orange back includes a representation of the Statue of Victory in Mexico City. PMG has graded the Face Proof Choice About Unc 58 with a couple of small edge tears and the Back Proof Choice Uncirculated 64. From The Alta California Collection
