Portugal Banco de Portugal 50 Escudos 6.2.1922 Pick 128. A PMG Very Fine 30 example of a rare note above the grade of Fine that we have auctioned only once before. That other piece was a PCGS Apparent VF 25 that was bid up to $2820 in April 2015. Tonight's problem-free Pick 128 should easily eclipse that figure though there is mention of it being retouched.
