Romania Banca Nationala A Romaniei 500 Lei 9.1.1940 Pick 43s Specimen. We have never had the pleasure to have one of these notes in any of our auctions. This gray note has the portrait of King Carol II at left on the face and a villa with trees on the green back which also features an overprint of two farm wives. It is stamped "SPECIMEN" in red diagonally on the face and back. PMG About Uncirculated 55 Net due to a previous mounting. From The Alta California Collection
