Timor Banco Nacional Ultramarino 30 Escudos 2.1.1959 Pick 22a. A well preserved note from the former Portuguese colony. A portrait of Jose Celestino da Silva is seen on the right and in the watermark on the left. The odd denomination, also seen on Portuguese Indian issues, were due to legacy currency systems converted into Escudos. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
