Great Britain Bank of England £5 ND (1961-63) Pick 372. This design and its variety with the denomination on the back in dark blue were the first "modern" five pound notes, which replaced the famous White Notes which had been circulating for the past two centuries. Even with the modern intaglio and polychrome printing technologies, it still retains main features seen on the White Notes, especially the wavy line watermarks and the security thread.
