Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Scylla hurling stone / ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ HPA in two lines above bull charging right, head lowered, two fish swimming right in exergue. Noe, Thurian N10-16/N6. Cf. HN Italy 1859/1858. A magnificent piece, struck on a broad flan from an obverse die of superb style and sporting gorgeous deep iridescent toning.
