Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet ornamented with three laurel leaves and vine scroll / ΑΘΕ, owl standing right, head facing, olive sprig and crescent moon behind, all within incuse square. HGC 4, 1597. SNG Copenhagen 32. Another wonderful owl, deeply struck on an unusually broad flan. NGC MS 5/5 - 5/5.
