PONTIC KINGDOM. Mithradates VI Eupator (120-63 BC). AR tetradrachm (15.81 gm). Dated Pontic Era 204 (94/3 BC). Diademed head of Mithradates right, with windswept hair / Pegasus grazing left; star and crescent left, ΔΣ (date) and monogram to right, IB below; all within ivy wreath. HGC 7, 338. De Callataÿ pg. 10. Rare, only one other example from this date offered in the past 15+ years! Mottled toning, reverse flan flaw. NGC VF 5/5 - 2/5, flan flaw.
