Edward VI Shilling ND (1547-1553) VF, S-2482. Third Period coinage and mintmark, "Y". Some hairlines in obverse field indicate the coin was lightly tooled long ago. Nonetheless, an important coin and highly collected. This type was the first to be known as a Shilling. Prior to this, the coins of Henry VIII were called Testoons.
