1911B Ag Pig Rupee, George V, NGC Graded MS 63, very scarce, one year type, Since the elephant's trunk on thhe robes of the King was small, it looked like a pig and thus it came to be known as 'pig rupee'. It led to a controversy as Muslims objected to it. Later in 1912, the elephant trunk was stretched longer in the new coins which came to be known as 'elephant rupee' .This is a nice blast white example. KM:523.NGC Certification: 3827393-007
