Henry IV (1399-1413), Light coinage, Noble, type B, 6.96g, mm. -/ cross pattée, hen/ric’ dei gra[ ] angl z franc d hib’ aq, king with sword and shield, facing, in ship with no marks, rev. ih’c avtem transiens per mediv’ illorv’ ibat, double saltire stops, ornate cross, trefoil in second quarter, •h in panel at centre, all within tressure, trefoils in spandrels (N.1355; S.1715; Schneider 198/-; Stewartby Pa/Pb), obverse struck from a worn heavy coinage die, weak in parts, otherwise very fine, very rare.
