Henry VIII (1509-47), Quarter-Angel, third coinage, 1.24g, mm. lis, henricvs viii dei gra agl / i, no stops, St. Michael slaying the dragon, rev. francie et hibernie rex, trefoil stops, ship with square topped shield, mast dividing h and rose (N.1832; S.2304; Schneider 628; Stewartby p.521), noted in the Lockett as 'pierced', now plugged at 2 o'clock, hairline crack in centre, otherwise good fine, rare.
