BOMBAY PRESIDENCY: AR rupee (11.55g), "Mumbai", year 5 (sic), Stv-7.4, KM-178. Prid-75var, assigned to Tellicherry mint, type B (coarse crescent), very rare year, bold VF, RR, ex Paul Stevens Collection. Although derived from Mumbai prototypes struck at Bombay (Mumbai), these rupees and the 1/5 rupees were mostly struck in the southwest of India, probably largely at Tellicherry, but always with the mint name "Mumbai".
