GERMANY, Magdeburg(?). Circa late 12th-13th centuries. AR Bractate (23mm, 0.69 g, 12h). Possibly local issue. Half-length facing bust, holding sword, shield, and spear with banner; cross to right / Incuse of obverse. Kestner –; cf. Bonhoff 635-6 and 639-40 (for type). VF, toned.
