MEXICO. Charles III, 1759-88. Gold 8 Escudos, 1778 MO FF, Mexico. Extremely fine.. 27.06 g. 37 mm. KM# 156.2 . Scarce mintmark FF from Mexico. A little weak in the obverse centre as they all are, but reverse centre is particularly well struck. Some darker gold toning remains. A very pleasant example which doesn't show any signs of tooling. Extremely fine.
