Morgantina. Circa 465-459 BC. Litra (Silver, 16mm, 0.80 g 3). Bearded male head to right, wearing taenia. Rev. ΜΟRCΑ-ΝΤΙΝΑ (retrograde) Ear of grain. Erim & Jaunzems 2. Rizzo pl. LX, 1. SNG ANS 463. Rare. Clear and attractive with toned surfaces. Usual die break on the reverse, and with a lightly struck obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
