CIMMERIAN BOSPOROS

Pantikapaion. Circa 380-370 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13mm, 2.46 g 12). Head of bearded Pan with goat's ear and wavy hair to left. Rev. ΠΑΝΤΙ Lion prowling to left, his head raised and his tail curled round between his back legs. Anokhin 9897. MacDonald 33. Attractively toned and of good style. Nearly extremely fine.
