Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. Stater (Gold, 18mm, 8.44 g 12), Kallatis, c. 250-225. Helmeted head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet adorned with a serpent. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Nike standing to left, holding olive wreath in her right hand and stylis in her left; to left, monogram. Price 894. Well-centered and clear. About extremely fine.
